My little artist

Owen finger painted for the first time today-he didn't really know what to think. He would only stick one finger in at a time. He did manage to get some on his face and in his mouth though! I think his painting turned out beautiful though-definitely going on the fridge! :)

*Owen loves to go to Chick-fil-a! He shoves the chicken minis in by the handful! And is getting more brave as climbing up the slide. He also had a blast playing in this tent at his friend Alli's house. He has been such a sweet boy lately! :)

Cupcakes

I made peanut butter cup cupcakes yesterday for a dinner at church-Owen had fun with the icing on the mixing spoons!

If you need something sweet to make, you should try these cupcakes!

Little Moments

Owen loves his stuffed animals. He has started wanting to take them everywhere he goes!

This is his new hide out-he has been having fun taking everything out of the cabinet and climbing in there!

Probably the best time of the day is when he lets me rock him before bed. This is one of the only times during the day where he will sit still for more than a minute! :) I sing him songs and he looks up at me with his big blue eyes-melts my heart! I sing him "Jesus Loves the Little Children"...he laughs every time I get to the part "red and yellow, black and white"...so cute! And I'm not sure if I should be offended when he tried to stick his pacifier in my mouth!

Anna Maria

We enjoyed a weekend away in Anna Maria Island, Florida recently. We feel like we found a small piece of heaven! If you've never been, you should check it out! Once we survived the 10 hour car ride with a not-so-happy toddler, two furry pups, and therefore two cranky parents- we had so much fun! We spent our time eating gigantic cinnamon rolls at the old IGA, visiting cute shops like Relish , snacking and swimming poolside, and playing in the Gulf. We stayed at Sunrise Garden Resort. The resort was close to everything so we could walk to Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, restaurants, and shops. Next time, we want to rent bikes and cruise the island! :)We had the best time as a little family and hope to get back to Anna Maria soon...(maybe we should fly next time...)
