For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Little Mollie went to the groomers before Christmas...they cut her really short and put bows in her hair-it was torture for her! But funny for us, she looked like a pork chop:)

Owen had so much fun at the 2nd Annual PJS and Pancakes at Myles Cowart's house. It was good to see my school friends and their little ones!

A visit with Mamimi and Ed! They gave Owen one of his favorites--a horse pillow.

Dinner with Ashton! Every time I say friend, Owen always says "Ash" and then "play". So sweet!

Not happy about taking pictures with the pups.

Playing the "nano" with Mamaw and Papaw.

Sadie hoping to open some presents:)

Owen and Mamaw

Our sweet neighbor, who has lived in this neighborhood for 55 years, brought us some of my favorite Christmas goodies-chocolate peanut butter balls, chocolate covered Ritz, haystacks! A little embarrassed to say they didn't last very long.

Slumber party!

Candlelit bath

Mamaw Burns took us to Discovery Place in Charlotte while we were visiting. Owen LOVED seeing the fish and playing.

Opening presents. Owen is so blessed to have so many people who love him! He received many wonderful gifts this year. The grandparents did a great job at getting him things that he will play with and use.

Owen got to spend time with his Aunt Amanda. He would yell for her if she wasn't in the same room. She was sweet to constantly throw balls with him and pick him up to "slam dunk" the basketball net! He enjoyed having more pups around for a few days too...

Chocolate Peppermint Cake!

Reading with Grandma Standridge

Wiggle Worm!

"Gickey" Mouse

Playing with cousin Jasiah's cars...

Owen's newest little cousin, Riley! :)

Seth playing mandolin at church on Christmas morning...

Papa and Kohen

Baking cookies for Santa-poor thing, I made him wear one of my aprons! :)

A friend gave us a coupon to go to Hollywild Animal Park to see the Christmas lights! They had quite the display AND there was a field where cows, deer, and zebra freely roamed. They would come up to your car and put their heads right in the car to eat crackers! I held Owen in my lap while we looked around, he wasn't too keen on the animals being so close. He said, "no, no, no" and then pointed to his car seat and said "seat, seat". He didn't make a peep for about 30 minutes.

Although Owen wasn't crazy about Hollywild this year, we can't wait to go back next year!!

We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying the last few days of 2011! May 2012 bring many blessings to you and your family!
