Owen's Class Party

Owen had fun at his Snowman class party. They made wreaths, had snowman donuts and a story! 

When we left, we saw our first flurries of the year! 

LC's Christmas Performance

Lily Caroline loves to put on performances at home- she really hams it up! We couldn't wait for her preschool performance.

It was so sweet and we loved seeing our girl! She really wanted "her Owen" to come so we let him go to school late so he could attend. 

Dickens Christmas

Our town hosts the cutest festival each year with old fashioned costumes, sugar plums, vendors and so much fun! 

Leiper's Fork Parade

We headed to our favorite little town, Leiper's Fork for their Christmas parade. It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day!

We spotted the singer of one of our favorite songs, Chris Janson and his family! 

They liked seeing the floats but let's be honest, they were there for the candy! 

And we followed this guy home from the parade! Biggest bear ever! 

Jammy "Cocoa" Christmas

For our Jammy Cocoa Christmas, it was so warm we decided to get milkshakes instead of hot chocolate! 

Fun Days with LC

We sure miss Owen while he is in school. Things just aren't the same around without him. Lily Caroline misses him the most so we try to keep her busy. 

Seth has started taking her to weekly story time at the Leiper's Fork library (Grandma got to go one week too) while I'm tutoring. This has been a fun weekly tradition for them. We love this little library! 

LC got this book at the library Christmas party.

After storytime, they always go get a biscuit and milk at Puckett's. Everyone there knows them now and says "Hi, Miss Lily Caroline!"

She and I hosted a little Christmas play date with friends at Chick-fil-a. Happy that she's making some sweet little friends here. 

Adventures of an Elf

We've never done the Elf on the Shelf tradition. This year Owen kept asking about an Elf and said he was the only one in his class without one. So we decided to bring this Elf into our lives! He flies around at night to different locations and Owen is excited to find him every morning! 

It has been a fun little activity this Christmas! 

Grand Ole Opry

Date night to the Opry at the Ryman! 

When your date goes to the bathroom and leaves his peanut butter pie on the table, you can't not take a bite, right?! 

A few of my favorites were at the Opry-Laura Story, Carrie Underwood, Kristian Bush and Chris Janson! 

We had so much fun and stayed out past our bedtime! 

Community Christmas at Christ Pres

Christ Pres, a church we have visited hosted a Community Christmas event with Handel's Messiah. Afterwards, gallons of soup and over 5,000 cookies were served! 

We ate our fair share of those 5,000

We are not perfect, our house is normally messy, but we sure do have fun together!

A Trip to the Buckeye State

Seth, Owen, Sophie and Sadie loaded up and headed to Gigi and Great Papaw's the weekend before Thanksgiving. They had a blast playing Go Fish, eating desserts at almost every meal, visiting Ohio State football field, and just spending quality time! 

They even got to see SNOW!!
