Miss Priss
Lily Caroline is almost 18 months and she has just been so much fun lately- talking more and her personality is coming out more...
Her brother calls her princess...
She loves her animals...except when they try to take her food! ;) For some reason, she especially loves out cat, Louie. She will say "chat" and point at him or try to chase him.
She has quite the accessory habit- she'll wear her glasses for hours at a time
Is already causing her daddy some trouble in the shopping department.
She also enjoys life on the "farm". She climbed on the tractor all by herself.
Thought she owned the place at Brick Street Cafe when I took her to a baby shower. This little pose kills me...and her little pearl bracelet
Wants to do everything that her brother does now.
Loves flipping through "Boos", sometimes upside down
Finally likes to take a bath again
A little on the sassy side
The apple didn't fall too far from the Jcrew tree
Sweet tooth
Has the BEST big brother who randomly gives her kisses, holds her hand, dances with her and sticks up for her! A little kid told her that she couldn't swing and he walked over and said, "my sister can do whatever she wants to". I pray they will always be close.
Couldn't leave this one out. This little girl is sweet, sassy, funny and we are so glad she is ours. The world sure seems like a better place with her in it!

Easter Basket Blog Hop
Darci is the cutest and is hosting another Easter basket blog hop! We have had lots of fun celebrating Easter! Here's some of our activities and our baskets!
These little chick cupcakes are my favorite treat to make for Easter. Both babes took them for their class party. Can you spot the one missing a beak? Oops! ;)
This year we have tried being very intentional of sharing the true meaning of Easter, the gospel, with Owen and Lily Caroline. I found a simple "resurrection eggs" plan on Pinterest. Each night, we read a verse and Owen opens an egg to reveal something that tells part of the story. Of course, each night usually consists of one child almost falling off the bed or not seeming like they are listening...but hopefully a little bit is sticking! :)
I must admit that I went into Michaels a few days after Valentines to get ribbon and they already had Easter things out...and I got suckered!! Couldn't help it, had to buy a few things in FEBRUARY because you know, Easter was only 2 months away!!
I tried keeping it simple with some treats that they would enjoy.
Couldn't resist this little Mud Pie chicky purse!
I was happy to make these little Hippity Hop bunny canvases to add to our mantle. They just made me smile!
Hope everyone has a Happy Easter spending time with family, hunting eggs, eating way too many jellybeans and most importantly, celebrating our risen Savior.

Cheesy Smiles and Conversations with Owen and LC
I love these little "cheese" smiles so much! We did bribe them with gummy bears to make them smile, but whatever works, right?
Believe it or not, Owen loves to match his sister right now. Of course, I am sure this will be over very soon...but I'm enjoying it while I can.
Last night in the bath, Owen said that he was going to marry his sister (whom he calls princess) someday. When I told him that brothers don't marry their sisters, he decided he didn't want to get married. He said, "You tell God that, I don't want to get married. I just want to stay home with you." I wish I could bottle him up and keep him just like he is! :) For whatever reason, I don't think when he is 35, it will be as cute for him to live at home! :)
Owen was sad when his dad had to go to work. I said after today, Daddy can play with you all day. Owen asked me if I would just be cleaning all day? Haha!

Live in chef
Owen's Nana gave him a baking set for his birthday. He wanted to make cookies and surprise his dad.
He even think washing the dishes is fun! Hopefully the same will be the case when he is 16!
