Pool Play date

Lily Caroline's friend, Charlotte invited her over for a pool party!

She had the best time

There's not much better than poolside snacking on Cheetos with your best buddies!

Monkey Joe's Monday

These little cousin cuties went swimming at Papa's on Sunday. Owen is a little fish in the water. The girls were funny not wanting to share but they had fun!

Monday morning snuggles

All is quiet, all is calm

Then she started pulling his hair!

Then THIS happened! The past week has been rough for Lily Caroline. She has four molars coming in and has been a different child! She has been having these "little" meltdowns. Hope these teeth come in soon!

Even the dogs needed to go outside for some peace...

We had several errands to run and the kids were so patient, I treated them to Monkey Joes!

Owen kept saying, "This is cool!"

Little Miss liked running around everywhere and trying to do what her brother did.

She found this car and played in it for the longest time!

Love these summer days of no plans!

My first baby

                   Selfie with Sadie

She may be a little spoiled

Trailblazer Amphitheater

Trailblazer Amphitheater was built also on my high school campus. Throughout the summer they are hosting concerts and having food trucks. Some friends invited us to join them. Turns out my cousin, Shelli and a few other TR friends were there too!

Owen, Seth, and Shelli's boy had a ball playing soccer!

Cousin Shelli brought sidewalk chalk and it was a hit!

My cousin's son, Noah drew this rainbow!

I am so happy that they have built something so community minded on the TRHS campus. It was sweet to see my kids playing at the place where I spent so much time growing up and have so many wonderful memories!

It was also a first time for Owen, he actually said "I'm ready to go to bed!"

A fun Saturday

We headed to my hometown of Travelers Rest this morning. Over the past few years, TR has gotten so many cute shops and outdoor activities.

We started with brunch at Upcountry Provisions. They have the best homemade breads in town!

And this little miss saw a few sweets she would've liked to have had

After brunch, we checked out the TR Farmer's Market. Several years ago, my high school was torn down. They have now built an amphitheater there and a building for the market. I'm glad to see the property being turned into a community center.

Owen enjoyed making an original artwork.

After the market, our local volunteer fire department was hosting a 50 year celebration with bouncy houses, hot dogs, snow cones and fire trucks, of course!

Owen even got to use the water hose!

And his baby sister has to try whatever her big brother does! She only lasted a minute...

Such a fun day supporting local places! Love community events and especially spending with my favorite people!

West Palm Beach

We headed to West Palm Beach this week with Papaw and Grandma Burns! It was gorgeous!

Owen LOVED the pool and didn't want to get out!

Owen said "God, I don't want to grow up anymore, you stinker!" Wish we could bottle him up!

And this little priss pot was getting in four molars so she was not quite her happy go lucky self this week...

Feeding the fish at the marina

While Daddy and Papaw went swimming with sharks, Grandma took us to the turtle hospital.

Owen took most of these pictures of the turtles

Superhero Owen!

Sharing icecream with Papaw

Milkshake, anyone?

Kisses!

Well...3 out of 4 is us were happy!

Snorkeling!

Love these curls!

On our last night at dinner, Lily Caroline thought this container of butter was icecream! She pitched a fit so we thought we'll let her try it and see...She took a big bite of butter and decided it was good enough...so that plan didn't work!

Packing up- don't worry we'll take you guys!

We had a great week despite a teething toddler, early wake ups and a boy with boundless energy who didn't always want to do what we did. Even though it was as chaotic and full of crankiness at times, we made lots of memories and wouldn't trade those we made them with!  Thanks Papaw and Grandma for a fun week!
