Well if you know us, then you know we are crazy dog people! :) Sadie is a "red tick coonhound" (which we didn't know that when we rescued her from the shelter, we just thought she was a cute puppy). In honor of her heritage we have gone to the Coon Dog Day festival in Saluda, NC. It is a fun event with a street parade, vendors, food, etc. The first year we went, Sadie and Mollie didn't have that much fun because of the loud fire engines. This year, we left them at home. I don't think Owen was very happy either with the fire trucks, loud noises. He starting poking out his bottom lip when they came by!
