West Palm Beach

What a fun filled week of sand, sun, and water! :) Papaw and Grandma Burns treated us to a vacation at West Palm Beach, Florida. We made the trip down with only 1 stop-Owen was a trooper for the car ride. He watched movies, slept and entertained himself. When we got there, he was immediately mesmerized with looking out the window at the water. He would point and blabber something!
He spent most days in the pool, playing in the sand, and his favorite was the splash water park the hotel had. It was perfect for him! He could run around, play in the fountains, and play with their water toys. It was nice because they had rubber flooring so we didn't have to worry about him falling and getting hurt.
Owen is definitely a little water bug-he loved all the water. He would get a little bit restless in the pool, I think because he wanted to walk around on his own.
We also visited the turtle hospital where injured turtles are being rehabilitated. Owen was a little bit scared of the fish and turtles, he didn't want to get too close. However, he loved the baby turtles and even said "baby" for the first time there!
Seth and Papaw went scuba diving three days. They saw all kinds of interesting sea creatures! Jenny and I thought that shopping was a little more up our alley! :) Owen went along with our plans...some how I think he will be joining up with the guys' adventures in the future!
We had a wonderful trip and hope to go back again! Thank you Papaw and Grandma Burns!!
