Happy Birthday to me...

I had such a nice birthday this year-the happiest one in a long time! :) It started off with balloons and flowers waiting on me when I got home from school the day before my birthday. Then, for my birthday morning, I was treated to Krispy Kreme with Owen and two of my favorite ladies! The rest of the day was spent relaxing, going to the Mighty Dollar, walking around downtown, and having dinner with my family! Such a sweet day!

And the celebrations continued with a girl's night out with two of my best friends and bowling!

This year was also different for me because I wasn't dreading my birthday like I have always done in the past. I am not big with change and so turning another year older has always been hard. A friend said she remembers when I cried when I turned 20. But this year I feel proud to have reached 31...there are so many out there who are struggling with cancer or other sickness, fighting for their life. So, I'm going to take age as it comes and be thankful for it! :)
