Spring Break

We really tried to stay home this year for Spring Break and tackle all the boxes in our garage that still need to be unpacked....but we just couldn't do it! We always have an itch to explore so we headed to Atlanta for just a few days.

Our first stop was the Georgia Aquarium. We have wanted to go there for a while and finally did with every other person in Georgia! It was more than crowded and we really couldn't enjoy the exhibits due to the massive amount of people. We will have to go back when it is less busy. Of course, the kids still had a good time.

Our hotel had an indoor pool which was heaven on earth for Owen!

This little ballerina debuted her swimsuit but wasn't too fond of swimming.

Baby doll

Silly boy

He doesn't want his mommy giving him kisses anymore! I do anyway!

What a treat to have room service for breakfast.

He can make a fort anywhere

We had planned to go to Lego Land but it was full with a school group. We met up with Aunt Joan and she suggested the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. It was the perfect spring day to visit.

The flowers were gorgeous

Thank you Aunt Joan! Lily Caroline was tired from a busy day and didn't want her picture taken! :)

Loved this!

These two are growing like "weeds".

We had a fun mini getaway and most importantly made some family memories. I often think what I want my kids to remember about their childhood. Being together as a family and making the most of each and every day are high on the list!
