Nana brought him a balloon! He carried this around the entire house and even took a bath with it!
We took him to one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants-Coronas! He loved it and just looked around the entire time.
He had fun playing at the park-crawling around and trying to eat mulch mostly!
The Birthday Boy was not the happiest camper first thing this morning! :) He said "I don't want to be 1"
"Oh, okay...maybe it's not so bad"!
"Yay, I'm one!"

He thought it was so funny for us both to sing to him.
The staff at Coronas are the best! They are always so friendly and know all the neighborhood kids who come in there. They were so sweet to sing to Owen and brought him an ice cream! He was shy when they started singing and put his head on the table. Then, he tried to touch the candle but luckily his daddy blew it out before he burned himself! The ice cream made him very happy!
What a wonderful 1st birthday!
